About Us
Capital City Church was formed in 1991 by a group of passionate believers that were lead to reach the UW and Madison for the kingdom of God. We are grateful for the foundations that they laid in Jesus name.
On this foundation Pastor Bob and Tina were able to bring a fresh passion for Capital City Church and Madison in February 2005. After much prayer and seeking of God's direction he lead us to:
Mark 11:17a "My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations..."
With an emphasis on prayer for our church family, community, and the nations we have seen God touch the lives not only of our church family, but also the international community in Madison and around the world.
With a focus on family and community we have a desire to minister the word of God to the whole family. From a strong and growing childrens and youth ministry to an annual marriage retreat. Pastor Bob and Tina's heart is to see the family of today strengthened through God's word.
With a desire to reach the University of Madison we are dedicated to growing a powerful college and career ministry. Our hope is to connect to, not only the local students, but also the international student community by sharing the love of God with them while they are here.
With a heart for missions we are blessed to support and send out missionaries through out the world. Our church has become a training ground in which believers can put to use the gifts that God has given them. With prayerful support we are blessed to be a part of God's work not only in Madison but through out the world.
As a multi-cultural church we have a unique body of believers that have become a family working together to love and care for each other and our community.

To connect people to God and His church, challenging them to grow, equipping them to serve, share their faith, experience genuine worship, and understand the power of prayer.
